A Software Development process is a structure imposed on the development of a software product.Followings are the models of Software Development Process that takes place during the process :

• Prototyping Model

• Rapid Application Development Model

• Component Assembly Model

All these Software Development models have their own advantages and disadvantages.Timing is very crucial in Software Development Process , if a delay occurs in the development phase , the market could be taken over by the competitors . So , it is the responsibility of System Analyst to complete the project in stipulated time.
